Vegan entrees at Bombay House

We had a delicious vegan dinner at a local indian restaurant last night. It was so yummy! Bombay House in Provo, Utah was really busy and so we had to wait for 40 minutes to be seated, but it was worth the wait. The menu offers a good selection of vegetarian entrees, and a few vegan options as well, including some appetizers and soup too. We shared Shennai Sorba, a south indian soup made with yellow daal, tamarind, potatoes, onions, tomatoes, and spices. It was so tasty! We also shared one order of Vegetable Samosas, potaoes, green peas and spices wrapped in a homemade flour pastry dough and deep fried. Yes, deep fried! What a splurge. Soooo good. Then we ordered two entrees: Vegetable Coconut Korma, which was already vegan and Molai Kofta, which was labeled vegetarian because it is made with cream. However, the awesome cooks at Bombay House made it vegan at our request by substituting coconut milk for the cream! Yay! We don’t usually order so much food, but because we could not finish, we had leftovers for lunch today. Bonus!
